My Everyday Makeup

Hello there friends, I hope April is treating you well. I am forever getting complements for my everyday makeup that I wear and I said I would share the updated version with you here. Down below you will find a list of all the products you're looking for,a video of this look will be live on Tuesday the 12th of March that should aid you're recreation of the look.

So first off I love to go for a flawless base, it's what gives me the most confidence and I feel even if I skip my eye makeup and brows at least I look presentable when in a rush, this makeup may be way too heavy for some but for me it's just right. I swear by my 'real techniques' beauty blending sponge. I have never been a fan of sponges, I've tried so many of them and just found them hard and they end up pulling away the makeup but this bad boy just applies the makeup beautifully and seems to have changed the way my makeup appears for the better. I picked mine up from boots for €7.99. I'd recommend it to anyone and everyone! 

Firstly I apply my primer then I take the makeup revolution setting spray and dampen my beauty blender this just seems to smoothly apply liquids across the face and blends them into each other more seamlessly. The first product I apply would be my L'oreal infallible foundation in 15 Porcelain dotting it all over the skin then I blend it with the sponge. The next product is honestly a holy grail. It is the Collection lasting perfection concealer and I apply that in a triangle under the eyes. The liquid contour I use is actually a dark foundation and the application is perfect to fit under the cheek bone and ontop of the forehead without it being too thick. Bouncing the sponge off the skin aids the flawless blending of the contour to the foundation. Also to note the Seventeen WOW highlighter is an absolutely amazing liquid highlight that just pops those cheek bones. 

After I've applied all of my creams I focus on setting the face with powders, the first powder I use is the Mary Lou loumaniser from The balm which is a very shimmery highlight which can be applied to the tops of the cheek bones and also to under the brow bone. This is followed by my ELF mineral loose foundation and some powder contour from my makeup revolution pro palette. I find this combination of products is fool proof for even humid long days. I've come home after 12 hour shifts and found my face still looks flawless.

The eyes are possibly the simpliest part of this look, I push a light brown through the crease then I apply a cream shade to the lid and inner corner, followed by a white shadow under the brow bone. So simple eh?! Then I just apply some Lancome Hypnose Mascara and some catrice liquid liner in '10 don't leave me' and tada you've got your everyday eyes. 

My lips change daily, honestly I am such a lipstick junkie that you couldn't tell me to wear one lipstick for the rest of my life (unless it's that damn essence lipstick I'm addicted to!) So for today I opted for a wet n' wild combo of their lip liner and lipstick in 'spiked with rum' it's such a gorgeous unique shade that I feel is totally appropriate during the day while also adding some colour to the face.
